Leak in bathroom

We found a leak in our en suite bathroom which was behind tiles and inaccessible for me. No local shut off valve for the pipe meant the whole house water supply needed to be turned off to manage. David came the same day and dealt with the leak for us by neatly removing one tile and getting behind to the pipe. David has also arranged for someone to come in and make good on the tiling to complete the fix. Fast response to issue and excellent solution implemented. Would thoroughly recommend David to anyone looking for a plumber in the area.

Complete bathroom replacement

David and his team were absolutely brilliant. David did so much... from putting in a new hot water tank to fitting and plumbing in a whole bathroom, and his team James (plasterer), Doug (tiler) and Craig (electrician) were all incredible too. They were all so quick and so good at their jobs, and so helpful in explaining everything to me, and reasonably priced too. I have now got a beautiful bathroom and highly recommend David and his team to anyone wanting a new bathroom.

Replacing radiator valves and replacing shower pipework

We have used Dave Shepard for a number of plumbing jobs at our house over the last few years. This time it was to replace defective radiator valves and mend a leak in the shower pipework - which was particularly awkward to get at. As usual, Dave was reliable, helpful, competitive one price and a pleasure to have in the house.

Fit new shower

David came round to review the existing system then quoted for the work including options for different types of shower. We picked one and the work was then carried out promptly. He identified the problem and advised us on the solution and he was back within a few days to fit a new shower mixer valve. He also sealed around the shower. Emergency call out to cap water pipe and disconnect washing machine

Prior to moving home I attempted to disconnect our washing machine but found the shut-off valve did not work and the stopcock under the sink had seized up. I called up David Shepard at 4pm in the afternoon as the removers would be with us by 7.30 the following morning! David came out to us within 30 minutes, sorted out the water and disconnected the washing machine, all at a very reasonable charge. I would highly recommend him and will be contacting him again for some work at our new property.
